Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during game play or in Furnish mode to display the console window, then activate the following cheats by entering the corresponding codes:

Enable "Testing Cheats" mode:
Note: This procedure requires editing a game file; it is recommended that you create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Open a text editor and edit the "Commands.ini" file in the "\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini" directory after turning off its "Read Only" attribute. Change the following line:




and save the file. Start the game and you will be able to adjust the values of the Hunger, Energy, and Relationship bars. Also, you can type help at the console window to show additional cheats that are now available.

Changing light colors:
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] in Furnish mode and scroll over a light. The pointer should then resemble an asterisk. Click the light to open the detailed light options "Turn off light", "Set Intensity", and "Change color".

Partial floor patterns:
Select a floor pattern in Furnish mode, then hold [Shift] while hovering over the active floor and click to place a partial floor pattern This lets you to place floor patterns in partial sections instead of entire grid squares.

Prevent death:
Simply save your Sim when you create him or her so that when you die, all the things in your inventory will still be there and your characters will be alive again so you can keep dying as many times as you want. However, you do lose your spouses or boyfriend/girlfriend.
