Guide to Endings & Romance Routes: ---------------------------------- Written by Mousekateer627 Here’s a rough and simple guide on how I got the four endings and romances in the game. -=Heads-Up and Tips=- * Character Traits will have an effect on story details and Character Romance outes. I encourage you to experiment with them in every playthrough. * When you need to get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek’s mind in Chapter 2, pay very close attention to the Shadow’s instructions and to Amalek’s dialogue and check his mind frequently. * When I mention read minds frequently, I mean read minds as many times as possible. Do so when scene changes, when characters enter and exit, whenever the “!” pops up and after every handful of dialogues. This is important not only to see changes in thoughts but to also rack up numbers in the use of the Void Stream. * They have no achievements but I will add instructions on how to romance certain characters for players wanting them. * Playing as a male or female won’t affect the story but each gender has their own respective CG image when romancing characters. * Also once a character kisses you, you’re locked out of romancing other characters. -=Ending 1: FOE Forever requirements * Easiest way to get this is to NOT read anyone’s minds at all. Only do so when the game pauses progression on the story. * Don’t kill Crain (don’t read his mind) * Ignore the Shadow’s orders to get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Korah. * During the confrontation against Veramus, ignore his demand to find a number in his mind. -=Ending 2: Careful Calculation * Don’t read anybody’s minds EXCEPT Veramus. * Read Veramus’s mind very frequently. * Ignore the Shadow’s orders to get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Veramus. * During the confrontation against Veramus when he demands you read the number in his mind, Dive deeper. -=Ending 3: Lost and Confused * Read everybody’s minds frequently EXCEPT Veramus. * Don’t read Veramus’s mind at all. * Ignore the Shadow’s orders to get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Korah. If failed choose Veramus * During the confrontation against Veramus when he demands you read the number in his mind, do it and FAIL to Dive Deeper. -=Ending 4: Viva Veramus * Read everybody’s minds frequently ESPECIALLY Veramus. * Get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * During the second mission to Teballai, after you climb down the Q’s palace with Mierol, read Amalek’s mind as soon as you can and Dive Deeper. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Veramus * During the confrontation against Veramus when he demands you read the number in his mind, Dive Deeper. -=Korah: * Charming chracter traits adds bonus points for this route. * Avoid reading Korah’s mind before and after you tell her the truth. * Don’t kill Crain (don’t read his mind). * Ignore the Shadow’s orders to get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Korah. -=Amalek: * Gullible Character trait adds bonus points while Short Tempered will cost points. * Avoid reading Amalek’s mind before and after you tell him the truth. * Don’t get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * (Important) Only time you can read his mind is during the second mission to Teballai, after you climb down the Q’s palace with Mierol. Do it as soon as you can and Dive Deeper. -=Mierol: * Fighter and Short tempered chracter traits adds bonus points for this route. * Read Mierol’s mind frequently. * In Chapter 3 when thrown into the brig, read her mind frequently here and Diver Deeper both times. * (Important) When conversing with Mierol on Ludebba, read her mind frequently here and make sure you see the thought “So Blaire grew up without any notion of family at all?” * AVOID having a strong bond with Korah by reading her mind frequently. -=Veramus: * Gullible Character trait adds bonus points for this route. * Read everybody’s minds frequently. * Read Veramus’s mind very frequently and Dive Deeper when available. Including the confrontation in chapter 4. * Get the Vandorfin coordinates from Amalek. * When you’re held captive in the brig, Send Thoughts to Veramus. |
