Guide to Create Several Save States: ------------------------------------ Written by 0x143 * There is a “checkpoint” save system in the pause menu. * You can “mark” a checkpoint, then reload back to that checkpoint at anytime. * If you want a more complex method to achieve infinite “alternative saves”. * If you go to your %localappdata%/Railgrade/Saved/saves folder you will see a bunch of UUID named files. The one which was edited last is your more recent region. * If you rename that file then you can keep its state. When you re-open the game you’ll be able to play a fresh start while also still having the old save file around. The checkpoint system is the easiest and is in-game. The devs added it for players who wanted to “test something out”, or where players wanted to try relaxing but were worried they’d miss a Rank and thus wanted a way to retry a section. |
