Editing Save Game (Money, Licenses etc.): ----------------------------------------- Written by Random Before diving into customization, be sure to create a backup copy of your save file (by copying this file to a safe location, you’ll prevent any accidental loss of your save). * To locate this file, you can access the following location * x:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Nokta Games\Supermarket Simulator\ SaveFile.es3 Note that the AppData folder is typically hidden, but you can access it by typing “%AppData%” into the search bar of your file explorer. Once your backup is secured, open the "SaveFile.es3" with a text editor such as Windows Notepad, Notepad++, or any other text editor of your choice. -=Money Customization=- * Use the search function (usually CTRL+F) to find the term “Money”. * Once located, change the current value to the desired amount. "Money" : 44.74401, "CartData! : { -=Enable / Disable Storage=- * Use the search function (usually CTRL+F) to find the term “Storage”. * Once located, change the current value to “true” to enable storage or “false” to disable it. "UnlockedLicenses" : [ 21,22..... ], * The first unlockable license in the game is 21, the others follow (22, 23 etc.) Storage Room Issue Solutions: ----------------------------- I have my products span two shelves and I place my backstock of each product in front of the shelf. One box for most items and two or more for high volume products like flour, bleach, toilet paper, and potatoes. Does it look nice? No. Is it efficient? Yes. This is a strategy I’ve seen in real life at tiny Asian grocery stores. It’s chaotic, but organized. I also organize my products and shelves to match the order in the ordering catalog. That way I can easily order all the freezer items, all the shelf items, and then the fridge items. I can easily walk around and see what I need for the day. -=Second Way=- I bought the storage room next door, but I found it pretty useless since it’s not accessible from inside the shop. So I decided to make my own in-store storeroom. First I expanded my store (twice I think), then I moved my shelves into a row to make a fake “wall” with a little space behind them. I made sure to leave a gap between the row of shelves to use as a “door,” basically creating a store room inside the shop behind the shelves. Now I can place my spare boxes in this little area. Oh, and my neighboring storage now stores empty boxes of all sizes, just in case I want to move something! -=Another Options=- Also you can put boxes outside along the front of the store and you also have a corner inside the store where you will store boxes too. You can move boxes in storage from left to right one day, and right to left the other day. It’s not ideal but it’s the only way to effectively use the small storage room. Tips to Cope with Large Amount of Stock: ---------------------------------------- Written by Reiker I’ve mostly given up on trying to restock during the day; it becomes too hectic after a few upgrades. I restock everything to full in the morning before opening. I always keep one extra box of each product, either in the storage room or on the sidewalk outside alternating each day. So lets say today my storage is full of boxes, 1 for each product. I grab one product, stock whatever is left on the shelf, and then buy whatever I need to end up with 1 extra box, and then I toss that into a pile on the sidewalk. The next day I’ll grab from the sidewalk pile and then throw the extras into the storage room. This is the fastest / most brainless way I could come up with to restock but it still takes a decent chunk of time. I also dedicate a pretty large section to each product, generally 2 products per shelf / fridge (or 1 product per freezer) to make sure nothing runs out during the day. I’m not entirely happy with this since it’s not very space- efficient but I’m not going to bother rethinking it until I see how effective the restockers are. A couple products just take up way too much space without restocking them throughout the day. Chicken is a big one since you can only fit 8 per freezer (seems like this should be increased). You would need like 3 freezers just dedicated to chickens to make sure you never run out, which is way too much space. It’s one of the few products that I keep an eye on throughout the day and restock as needed. |
