Tips to Play Shunya: -------------------- Written by Val the Moofia Boss -=Normal Mode=- Shunya isn’t very strong in any area besides magic damage, and like you said she usually dies really quick and loses her crystals. I ended up using Shunya as an item user, so that the rest of the team doesn’t have to waste a turn getting mp/zeal/health (this isn’t an issue in late game since you get op gear). Also like Minneyar says, buffs and debuffs are really good, if you use Mikazuchi’s final he’ll basically make enemies miss left and right, also Munechika’s wall shield ability is cracked. It costs a lot of mp in the beginning but it literally negates one instance of physical damage and whatever magic damage comes will do nothing since Shunya has naturally high magic defense. At some point once your team unlocks their finals, you’re basically gonna be set and for me I personally just focused on max zealing Shunya as her main source of damage. I haven’t tested the Hanamushi Shot III but her ult inflicts guaranteed burn unless the enemy is immune, and it does a lot of extra damage. -=Hard Mode=- The defense stat isn’t worth investing into. It only marginally increases your survivability, so if a boss targets Shunya she has a decent chance of dying anyway. It isn’t hard to revive her. Mind as well just jack up her Spirit and MP and use her as a heal bot for boss battles. For overworld mob battles I just spam Electric Sparrow, as aforementioned. |
